DELICIOUS ROAST CHICKEN {IN THE CROCKPOT}

The night before: Wash a whole chicken (3-5 lbs.) and pat dry.  Prepare the spice mixture below and rub all over the chicken, inside and out.  Place the chicken in a pan and cover with plastic wrap.  Put it in the refrigerator over night.

Roast Chicken Spice Mixture:
4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. thyme, ground
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. pepper

In the morning: Take the chicken out of the refrigerator and put it in your large crockpot.  You do not need to add any liquid, as the chicken produces its own juices as long as you don’t remove the cover while cooking.  Cover and cook on low 9 hours.

Serve with some cornbread and a large green salad for a yummy meal!

    1. Try to right click on the link and save the kindle file to your computer. Will that work? It works fine for me. Just let me know, ok?
